OTHM Level 4 Diploma in IT (Information Technology)

Overview:

This OTHM Level 4 Diploma in IT (Information Technology) course objective is to provide learners with an excellent foundation for a career in a range of organisations. Level 4 Diploma in IT is designed to ensure that each learner is ‘business ready’: a confident, independent thinker with a detailed knowledge of Information Technology, and equipped with the skills to adapt rapidly to change. The qualification is ideal for those who have started, or are planning to move into, a career in private or public sector business. Successful completion of this course will provide learners with the opportunity to progress to further study or employment.

Total course cost is £10,250 split equally across the duration of your course (full and part-time).
For UK students: you can apply for a non-means-tested government master’s loan.

Entry requirements:
2:2 honours degree and above or equivalent – from a recognised institution.
English language: IELTS Level 6.5 or above with no element below 6.0 (or equivalent).

Entry Requirements

For entry onto this qualification, learners must possess:

  • Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Diploma or equivalent
  • The learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course.

Progression

Successful completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology opens the door to a variety of academic advancements, including the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology. Because this qualification has been recognised and controlled by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners can achieve direct access into the second year of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree.
